Mehl describes the music he plays on guitar

and ukelele as acoustic beach-flavored

ballads with a hint of jazz. Rob has

released a number of cds of original

music, and tours regularly playing

festivals and house concerts

across the country.

Born in California, Rob spent a number of years living and surfing in Hawaii, where he was inspired by listening to the amazing stories of the local Waikiki beach boys,

as well as reading famed authors like Mark Twain,

John Steinbeck, and

Ernest Hemingway.
